On the issue of measurement
How do we measure stupidity?
Is there a monetary valued Or a body count attached to it?
How many more wars,terrorist acts,interventions need to happen while we hear that there is no money for health care,housing and the regular needs of common people like eating healthy food.
Is it based on the number of children dying of hunger? Or
How much money is invested in the creation of jails instead of public education?
And speaking of jail…How do we measure that we incarcerate more people than any other country in the world?
Or how much money corporations make and continue to make and then say that they are broke and we bail them out and nobody goes to jail.
Or how stupid is the latest reality idiot that think is an actor or actress?
Maybe is calculated by the percentage of people that spend time listening to the talking heads in all the news channels analyzing bullshit.
Or by the belief that voting every four years is the actual way to engage in political discourse?
Maybe the measure of stupidity is just the reality that some people do not even know that they are stupid and are just happy to flip the channels, talk to Facebook,tweet, you tube it,instagram their latest stupid action….like can somebody just tweet Who the fuck cares.
Hmmmm I think I get it we are all just trying to measure our own loneliness and alienation by acting clueless and stupid… While a few measure new and more efficient ways to exploit your life and soul.Carmen Bardeguez-Brown
